I live a bit of a hectic life. As a freelance writer, fitness instructor, belly dancer, wife, mom, daughter, friend, runner, and more, sometimes I feel like I don’t have time to breath. I’m a woman in my mid-30s, and I have finally “found” myself. Or maybe I just grew into myself (or out of myself).

OKCmemorialmarathonIn the past 2 years, I’ve lost 80 pounds, and made some dramatic changes, and parts of this website will talk about that ongoing journey. Other parts of this site will be devoted to my freelance writing and other passions like belly dance. And finally, I will occasionally write about being the mom of a special needs child. My son was recently diagnosed with high functioning Autism, and that has been a roller coaster of emotions.

I think I threw away my “before” picture, but hopefully I can find a reasonable representation of that time period. Soon I’ll have before and now pictures taken. Now isn’t my final “after” because, as most of us, I’m still a work in progress.
